What's Covered When I Do Your Install
Every Bosch system I install comes with two separate warranties: a 10-year parts warranty from Bosch, and a 10-year labor warranty from me. Here's exactly what each one covers.
10-Year Parts Warranty
Bosch covers all components built into the unit at time of manufacture for 10 years. If a part fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, Bosch supplies the replacement at no charge.
What's covered
Registration
Bosch warranty registration is done by the installing contractor. I handle it for every job. You don't need to do anything.
10-Year Labor Warranty
If something goes wrong that traces back to how the system was installed, I come back and fix it. That covers refrigerant leaks, condensation leaks, and any issue that a proper installation should have prevented.
How it works
Why annual maintenance?
Annual maintenance keeps the system running correctly and gives me a chance to catch anything before it becomes a problem. It also keeps the Bosch parts warranty intact, since manufacturers require documented maintenance.
What Warranties Don't Cover
This applies to both the Bosch parts warranty and my labor warranty.
Normal wear items
Filters and other consumables are maintenance items, not warranty items.
Physical damage
Damage from impacts, flooding, lightning, or other external events is not covered.
Refrigerant costs
Even when a part is replaced under warranty, the refrigerant itself is a separate cost.
Neglected systems
A system that hasn't had regular maintenance can have warranty claims denied.
